iPhone 18 Pro Max Cases Worth Carrying Daily

Leather iPhone 18 Pro Max Case: What I'd Carry and Why

Hi, Brian here.

The Pro Max is a big phone. Put it in a sloppy case and it feels even bigger.

So our leather cases for it are made for the Pro Max size, not a one-size-fits-all iPhone 18 shell. There are three ways to carry it. Here's how I think about each one.

Why the Pro Max gets its own cut

On a phone this size, a case that is even a little loose is something you feel every time you pick it up. Our Heritage case for Pro Max is built for the larger Pro Max silhouette, with precise cutouts so the ports, buttons and cameras stay easy to reach.

The Heritage case for Pro Max

This is the slim one. American full-grain leather on the outside, soft microfiber on the inside, and discreet stitch accents that give your hand a little grip. MagSafe is built in with an integrated magnetic array, so chargers and mounts work the way they should. Ports, buttons and cameras are left open.

It's the case for you if you already have a wallet you like and just want good leather on the phone. It's $69, and you can add laser engraving if you want it to be yours from day one.

The Luxury Pocket Book for Pro Max

The Pocket Book is two cases in one. On the outside is a full-grain folio wallet with card slots and a cash pocket. On the inside is a detachable Heritage leather case that holds the phone. A magnetic tab keeps the whole thing closed, and it's built to carry four to six cards.

When you want to travel light, pull the inner case free and leave the folio at home. MagSafe works on that inner case on its own. French-hemmed seams and marine-grade, UV-resistant nylon stitching hold it all together.

This is for the person who hates juggling a separate wallet at the register. It's $99.95.

The Heritage Case and Wallet Stand Bundle for Pro Max

The bundle is the slim Heritage case plus our Heritage MagSafe Wallet Stand. The wallet holds three or four cards, it's RFID shielded, and a strong stainless steel hinge turns it into a stand for watching something in portrait or landscape. Snap it off when you want the phone thin again. Paired with an RBH Goods Co. case, the magnetic grip is extra strong.

It's $99 for both pieces. If you already have a case, the wallet stand is $59.95 on its own.

The colors we make

All three come in Mahogany, Deep Amber and Onyx Black.

Living with the leather

Full-grain leather changes as you carry it. The edges darken, the surface softens, and after a while the case looks like it belongs to you and nobody else. That's the patina, and it's the whole point.

If it ever looks dry, a little of our Leather Cream And Balm brings it back. Wipe the case clean first, rub the cream in with a lint-free cloth in small circles, give it 15 to 30 minutes, then wipe off the extra. Some leathers darken a bit right after, then settle back over time.

How I'd choose

Just want leather on the phone? Heritage. Want your cards to live with the phone as one object? The Pocket Book. Want a few cards and a stand some days, and a thin phone on others? The bundle.

If you're still deciding between iPhone 18 Pro and Pro Max, or looking at iPhone Duo, I wrote a device-by-device guide to all three paths. You can also see every leather iPhone 18 Pro Max case we make in one place.
